Walk with Maxeke 2024

Join us for the 5Km Walk With Maxeke Fun Walk on Saturday, 19 October 2024, at Freedom Park! This special event, in partnership with the Charlotte Mannya-Maxeke Institute (CMMI), celebrates the legacy of Charlotte Maxeke while raising awareness for breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Registration begins at 06:00 AM, with the opening ceremony at 08:00 AM and the walk starting at 08:30 AM. The event is free and open to all ages, featuring health screenings and consultations for minor ailments from the Department of Health. Participants can also purchase goodie bags valued at R100 from Webtickets. Let’s walk together for awareness and empowerment!
